Love Lifting Havens provides affordable, fully furnished shared living homes across North Carolina for individuals who face barriers to finding a safe, stable place to live. We offer structure, support, and a peaceful environment where residents can maintain independence and rebuild their lives with dignity.
Our vision is a North Carolina where every person, regardless of income or past circumstances, has access to a safe and stable home. We believe that housing is the foundation for healing, opportunity, and long‑term well-being. Love Lifting Havens strives to create small, home‑like environments that lift people up, reduce isolation, and connect residents to the resources they need to thrive. As we grow, we aim to expand our network of havens across Caswell, Alamance, Guilford, Forsyth, Rockingham, Orange, and surrounding counties.

About us
Love Lifting Havens was created to be more than just housing — it is a refuge for individuals who are often overlooked or priced out of traditional rentals. We offer shared and private rooms.
We operate fully furnished shared living homes that offer stability, structure, and a sense of belonging for independent and semi‑independent adults who have a guaranteed fixed income.

Seniors 65+ – Older adults seeking a safe, stable, and community‑oriented living environment.
Veterans & Disabled Veterans– Those who have served our country and now need a peaceful, structured place to live.

Love Lifting Havens provides housing only. Residents must be able to manage their own personal care and daily activities and must not require 24/7 medical supervision. When additional support is needed, we connect residents with trusted third‑party organizations that can offer home care, home health services, case management, transportation, meals, and, when appropriate, on‑site medical support.
We understand the barriers many people face when trying to secure housing, such as income requirements of three times the rent, security deposits, first and last month’s rent, or strict background checks. Love Lifting Havens exists to bridge that gap. We serve returning citizens transitioning from incarceration, low‑income seniors, disabled veterans, and other adults in need of stable, supportive housing.

Fully furnished shared and private rooms
All utilities, Wi‑Fi included
Access to shared kitchen and laundry facilities.
We provide a TV in the shared living room and offer assistance with obtaining free personal tablets and cell phones through available community or government programs.
Each home is an alcohol‑ and drug‑free environment
24/7 security monitoring to support safety and peace of mind

Love Lifting Havens is a non‑medical, independent living home. We do not provide clinical or hands‑on care, but we actively partner with trusted third‑party service providers to support residents during their stay.
Through coordinated community support and local agency partnerships, eligible residents may receive services either off‑site or in the home, depending on provider availability and program guidelines. These may include:
Non-medical home care services
Home health care (with physician orders)
In-home visits by psychiatrists
In-home visits by nurse practitioners
Pharmacy delivery for prescribed medications
Arranged directly by the resident, case manager, VA, or referral agency
Provided by licensed third-party providers
We partner with families, providers, and community organizations to ensure our residents have not only a safe place to live, but a supportive environment where they can heal, grow, and move forward with dignity.

Who are a good fit for Love Lifting Havens?
Love Lifting Havens is appropriate for adults who meet the following general criteria:
Age 65+ (or other qualifying adults as discussed)
Independent or semi‑independent and able to manage personal care
Cognitively aware and able to make safe decisions
Able to ambulate without hands‑on assistance (with or without assistive devices, as appropriate)
Have verified, guaranteed income (e.g., SSI, SSDI, pension, VA benefits, HUD-VASH)
Manage and administer their own medication and medical health managment
Do not require 24/7 medical care, active behavioral stabilization, or skilled nursing level of care
How Services Are Provided
Arranged directly by the resident, family, case manager, VA, or referral agency
Delivered by licensed third‑party providers
Services are not delivered, billed, or clinically supervised by Love Lifting Havens

How It Works?
Step 1: Inquiry & Application
Individuals, families, or referral partners contact Love Lifting Havens to discuss housing needs and eligibility. We provide a simple application that collects basic information about income, background, and support needs.
Step 2: Assessment & Matching
Our team reviews the application, talks with the applicant or referring agency, and assesses which home and room type (shared or private, when available) is the best fit. We consider safety, compatibility, mobility needs, and support services.
Step 3: Placement & Move‑In
Once approved, we schedule a move‑in date and review house guidelines and expectations. Residents arrive to a fully furnished room with utilities, Wi‑Fi, and household essentials already in place.
Step 4: Ongoing Support & Stability
Residents live in a structured, alcohol‑ and drug‑free environment with 24/7 security monitoring. We help connect them with transportation options, community resources, and referrals to support long‑term stability and independence.
